"His and Hers" Barn Owl boxes have been put up, more details are on the Nature Trail.
We have also put up boxes for Tawny Owls in different parts of the garden, more details are again on the Nature Trail.
New trees planted 2024
2 x "Ademuz" & 2 x "Morton" elms. Both resistant to Dutch elm disease
6 x european white elm for coppicing. Not resistant but doesn't attract the beetle that carries Dutch elm disease very strongly
3 x California redwood (Sequoia sempervirens)
1 x Broad-leaved cockspur thorn (Crataegus persimilis 'Prunifolia')
